Royds Advertising (since bought by McCann-Erickson) was Britains
largest domestic advertising group with offices in 13 cities across
the UK. The
agencies operated autonomously, though jointly serviced some national
business.
The
Cardiff office was the largest agency in Wales and handled brand
and retail advertising along with some regional government business.
It
was a good first job and an excellent place to learn how the industry
worked, particularly below the line.
