Monier were the market leader in clay bricks but their
share was under threat from cheaper concrete imitations.
The colours of concrete brick are less true and tends
to have a duller slightly grey look which becomes more
pronounced over time.
Monier also had a larger variety of different shades
of reds, golds, browns etc than the other clay brick
manufacturers.
This poster and magazine campaign was done to support
the television commercials promise of the classic
brick that offers good looks that stand the test
of time.
